The Huawei CE16808 Switch is a high-performance core switch designed for large-scale data centers and cloud computing environments. Ideal for enterprises and service providers, it delivers ultra-high switching capacity, low latency, and intelligent traffic management. With its modular architecture and support for advanced features like NSR, ISSU, and IPv6, the CE16808 ensures reliable, scalable, and future-ready network infrastructure.

Huawei CE16808 Switch is designed with advanced hardware architecture. The maximum support of the whole machine is 734/1548Tbps switching capacity. Currently, it supports up to 576 100GE, 576 40GE or 2304 10GE full line speed interfaces. At the same time, CE16808 Switch features industry-leading backplane-free Clos switching fabrics and industrial-grade reliability, as well as rigorous front and rear duct designs and support for rich data center features. In addition, the switch can interconnect with iMaster NCE-Fabric through standard protocols such as NETCONF and SNMP to implement network automatic management and control, providing more efficient and intelligent operation methods, simplifying network management, and reducing the OPEX. It also uses Virtual System (VS) technology to provide an industry-leading virtualization capability that enables one switch to be virtualized into as many as 16 logical switches. This 1:16 ratio enables one core switch to manage services for an enterprise’s multiple service areas such as production, office, and DMZ, or for multiple tenants.
